Details: COMMUNITY EDUCATION COORDINATOR A unique not-for profit health organization is seeking an energetic, creative and people-oriented individual to develop, implement and evaluate community education programs throughout its 37 county service area. The ideal candidate should possess well-developed communications skills, the ability to work independently, as well as a baccalaureate degree or equivalent experience in education, communications, health programming or health administration. The Community Education Coordinator is responsible for communicating complex concepts to diverse ages and audiences. A working knowledge of the body and the functions of body systems is recommended, but not required. The position requires routine travel throughout Central, Southern & Eastern Ohio by personal automobile and will include some nights and weekends. Details: Position Title: Administrative Assistant                        Reporting To: Training and Education ManagerPrimary Purpose:Provide administrative support to a department and/or Manager. Duties include general clerical, receptionist and project based work. Project a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction.Key Accountabilities:1.        Perform a variety of administrative and clerical duties such as copying, filing, and data entry.2.        Prepare materials and classrooms for training classes both onsite and offsite, such as: ordering manuals and setting up the room. 3.        Assemble and ship training materials as requested by Branch Managers and Franchise Owners.4.        Prepare expense reports for management.5.        Answer questions for the various disciplines in which the training department is involved.6.        Maintain and update records of training activities, employee progress, test results, as well as, certification system including printing and distributing certificates.7.        Maintain training and education website which includes: updating the calendar, updating participant list, and inputting results. 8.        Communicate course offerings; which includes; monthly newsletter, sending updates on offerings, and confirming all registrants.9.        Answer corporate phones courteously and direct calls to appropriate personnel10.     Assist in designing and developing training and educational materials.11.     Additional responsibilities as assigned by the Education Coordinator or National Education and Core Consumer Services Manager. Manage key relationships with Industry Trade Associations such as IICRC, NADCA, Safeguard, NWFA, State Departments of Insurance, EPA, Seagull Training: Phone, email, interpersonal communication for administrative purposes as determined by the Education Coordinator General office experience with excellent organizational & time management skills, as well as the ability to multi-task. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint Good oral and written communication skills and message handling skills Must be able to organize and prioritize work and somewhat work independently.
